The first interfaith, intercultural speakers bureau in the nation's capital focusing on dialogue among different religions and cultures: a collaboration of two dynamic non-profits-The Du Plain Enterprises Foundation and The InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington (IFC) in association with the Buxton Initiative, whose speakers are listed further below.

BUXTON INITIATIVE SPEAKERS

Is religion a part of the problem or the solution? Like many Americans, you might just be hearing one side of the story about the effect religion has on politics, culture and international relations. While the media is quick to point out how religion can cause division, these leaders in government, business and public life have experienced candid and useful dialogue among men and women of different religions. The following Buxton Initiative speakers are available to bring a hopeful, fresh perspective based on real experiences that demonstrate how dialogue can be a remarkable agent to build trust, increase vital understanding and reach peace-building reconciliation.
