He is also the author of the books Futures for Small Speculators, Futures for Small Speculators: Companion Guide, Single Stock Futures for Small Speculators and the recently released Forex for Small Speculators. As a 13 year veteran of the futures industry he focuses on bringing two seemingly divergent perspectives of the futures industry, futures professional and futures speculator, into his books, video seminar series “Speculating with Futures and Traditional Commodities”, and speaking engagements around the world.

Mr. DraKoln has also had the great fortune of working closely with the Bucharest Commodities Exchange and the Romanian Futures Exchange as both a consultant and featured speaker. As an economic ambassador of the United States of America International Development Agency (USAID) , he has represented Romania's interest in using futures as a risk management tool in front EU ascension representatives.

He has been a guest speaker at various futures and forex trading conferences around the world; Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Paris, Frankfurt, and Madrid and was invited to speak at the China Derivatives Summit in Shanghai.

His book Futures for Small Speculators has been translated into German and Romanian. He has also been a former editor of Futures Magazine and contributing writer to Pristine View, Cornerstone Institutional Investors Magazine, Futures Magazine, Traders Magazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, Currency Trader, and Traders Journal. He has also been quoted throughout the internet, and has spoken on almost various radio stations regarding futures and forex investing.
